Kathy Went Too far.. So Did Snoop

(before we start please excuse what grammatical errors I may have missed I suffer from dyslexia)

Let me say that I said the same thing about both no question, and believe me I’m part of the Trump is not my president movement or whatever it is, I had even found the snoop video to be kind of funny, satirical as it is (not haha funny if you will but funny) him being a clown, also I loved the SNL sketches of Trump 9 out of 10 where hilarious, but here is why I feel Snoop Dog and Kathy went too far.  Images like those, that depict violence against the sitting president whomever it may be makes us look weak around other parts of the world, I can’t say for sure but I’d assume you wouldn’t find images like this of other countries’ leaders openly accepted (in their counties) pretty sure a couple of leaders would have you put to death. Art wise, freedom of speech wise, even personally, why they felt they wanted to do this I applaud, I know where they stand and I like it.

Here is my problem I’ve seen this story so far on two different media outlets and automatically it’s stated”if this were done to/for Barack Obama how would you feel”? (honestly I expected it) Let’s put this comparison to rest, less the actual beheaded image (that I know of) this has been done to Barack to the then First Lady Michelle and their children, in particular one I will never forget Michelle was compared to an ape. I’ve seen with my own eyes ignorant bumper stickers on truck of people whom I assume have been, are, or have family in the military disrespect Obama while he was in office (it will have the branch of military I’ll tell you ive seen more USMC and then the offensive Obama quote and NRA). He was your Commander In Chief  I just can’t wrap my head around how that works opinions and freedoms as they are maybe it’s something you need to just say around your people you believe feel the same way but shouldnt advertise being he was your Bosses Boss. You want to condemn all depctions of violence against a sitting president, I have no problem with that, but you have no right to compare, I no longer want to hear “if it had been done to Obama”, it has, more frequently and less humanly. The Obama’s were openly compared to animals spoken of as less than human beings and this wasn’t exclusive to private citizens, I’m talking government officials. So forgive me if I am less sensitive that an arrogant New Yorker gets his feelings hurt when it wasn’t to long ago I was reminded how many in this country feel about people of color no matter how much power they have.

Listen.. There Is A Method to My Thinking

I’m going to talk about a couple of things here, just pay attention. I voted for Clinton, I voted for Obama and to be honest it wasn’t cause they were Democrats or in the one case, sure as hell wasn’t cause he is black, there were other black candidates that didn’t make it as far would have never had my vote. Ben Carson is black and he is a freaking idiot, if I took anything from government (in high school) it is that the president you elect doesn’t control the free world he like the pope for Catholics, is just the respected representative with the power of veto, a sitting president can at best serve only two terms, eight years max, congress can serve until they scandal, retire, or die, no law gets passed by one single entity in government… so yes while our vote doesn’t count why I voted anyway for those two over (lets say now from the far right) because they were less crazy. George W Bush declared a win to a war we hadn’t yet won in a place we shouldn’t have been. Believe it or not, W. could have changed my whole view of him that first week after 9-11-01 all that stupid good ol’ boys Texas shit, I would have had his back if that week he said lets Fuck them up wherever they are right now. But he waited and no one said anything otherwise, nothing against his decision. America looked weak that week North Korea and the Soviet Union laughed at us (cause you do remember they hate us? Oh but Snowden is a fucking hero? Shake my head, screw you directors of his story and anybody that believes Snowden was given asylum without being a trader to the US) Donald Trump believes Mexicans are rapist and murderers, that he can build a wall and the stop this nations life long immigration issue with one wall (where is his wife from?). I only wonder if he can tell the difference between a Cuban, Dominican, or Puerto Rican just to name a few, better yet I wonder how many others that believe what he does can. And I only bring that up because if you are Latino/Latina and you support Donald Trumps’ views what’s stopping them from denying your family? Ben Carson, Trump, and far to many of those on all sides who live sheltered, privileged, lives believe guns don’t kill people, that people do. Yet it is so convenient that you are normal (if white, until you commit mass murder then all of a sudden a background check missed your mental issues I whole heartedly do not understand how people don’t see this shit) I posted on this previously so I will not preach let me leave you with this you don’t need automatic rifles to protect yourself and no freaking way teachers and whomever else Ben and Donald think should carry guns to stop people commit crime should be able to do so, humans are flawed and I hate to say this need laws and need police, not gun totting idiots. I don’t even feel these people are mental not all of them, that’s their plea for sympathy after the fact or what their lawyers and the NRA want you to believe. I see people with weapons who are bored, who want to use their weapons for real shit. that’s the problems with guns some people get bored just looking at them.

I don’t know about you but, me and every single person I know is out of the tax bracket that fuels the thinking of the majority of those in power. They rule by the NRA, the drug companies, oil, and whatever else they have billions invested in. So when I vote and as much as I complain I don’t hate republicans or you people that blame Obama for what little that side of Fox News media can tell you to hate him for, I vote for forward thinkers and I am only disappointed that much like reality shows and wrestling, people just believe everything they see, nobody asks questions anymore. To close this topic George W. Bush was the least qualified and most ridiculous choice for an office that represents a nation so far (since I was old enough to vote) “fool me twice won’t fool me again” let a beauty pageant contestant have said that dumb shit we would never let it go, and again he publicly admitted a win to a war we are still fighting. Vote with your heart when your heart is in the phase that helps you care about others even if those other are just your school mates or co-workers. We live in reality the politicians we vote for don’t really want to pay the taxes we so undoubtedly have no choice not to pay for working people it’s pay or serve time for the wealthy its pay or lobby a vote in your favor better yet use off shore banks

Lastly. So Raven Symone opened her dumb ass M/F mouth again. She and Stacy Dash can take a long walk off a short cliff into a volcano. You two talentless self hating hacks. Raven says she would not hire people with ghetto names but is named after a damn bird and rocks a pink mohawk, sit your privileged ass down because if it wasn’t for your parents selling your young soul you wouldn’t be anything and Stacy your biggest movie is tantamount to who you are.. Clueless. Mediatakeout.com is reporting that Raven was let go for her comments and if you believe that bullshit then your part of the problem too, that shit is great publicity for the show, besides committing a heinous crime there is no bad publicity the dumber she is the more popular the show, look at Love and Hip Hop (anything) or Housewives of (whatever) or the Kardashians… Wait you already do don’t you? Religion Won’t Save You

How the church felt about the Boston bombings

*(before I get started, I apologize in advance for grammatical errors I have dyslexia I catch what I can)

 

The Westboro Baptist Church a group of Christian extremist infamous for protesting funerals have tweeted they will protest the funerals of the two killed in the Louisiana movie theater shootings this past week, their message (and I will purposely not include the hashtag is “God sent the shooter”. I am almost at lost for words and at the same time not surprised this country was built by people trying to escape religious belief, taken from the hands of people too trusting and has become more radical with each generation. As A child I was baptized Catholic I’ve heard it said once your baptized catholic  you are always that no matter how far you stray. Well Catholicism has its issues very public issues. And growing up with dyslexia I have to be honest I didn’t get through too many books especially those that weren’t required for a grade so I have never fully read the bible I cannot quote you a psalm or tell you a scripture you should read when your feeling a certain way. Partly because the words are so tiny in most and there are just so many (words) all related to different stories it’s too much for me to keep stored let alone when the words start to jumble or it’s written in old English. And I bring that up to say it causes me to approach everything with a grain of salt and a scoop of common sense, I believe in a higher power only because I think we need to believe in something especially when times get tough. But you can’t just tell me it was written in this book many years ago then tell me it can be interpreted differently but also say these are rules. And I say this about the bible and the constitution. It scares me these rules made before the advancement of population, of technology, and society are rules we follow to the T unless you can afford to bend them to your needs. yet no one realizes we have a problem guess I just think to much.

Personally I don’t care what you practice, who you follow, who you love, and what you believe, that’s your American freedom. But how evil and sick must you be to protest at a funeral? Where do you find that hate? As an adult when did you decide there are some things you just won’t question yet you can’t explain? Are you higher in God then I am because you go to church everyday so you don’t sin?  A dangerous way to live.  This church finds the hate inside to come to you at your weakest most vulnerable point and express their freedom of speech and right to gather as you lay a loved one hopefully innocent of major offenses to rest this group shows up to berate you to spit on your cause for their beliefs  and it’s no crime that is what worries me about this country.

So Donald Trump wants to run on the republican ticket and what scares me about that is not that he will win but he represents what republicans really think about you. No matter how ridiculous you believe his statements are he’s saying upfront what many will say in private because it could mean a bigger challenge for votes, years ago he demanded Barack’s birth certificate some old lady at a republican rally stood up and said that Barack Obama is an Arab, funny to me how she thinks the application for the highest job in the nation would have missed that in a background check. 

Religion won’t save you hide behind it if you want. It sickens me to see these things, to feel like I am the only one thinking rationally, to have to say that black lives matter, Donald Trump is outrageous, the confederate flag of a lost battle shouldn’t be flown anywhere except private property and Caitlyn Jenner is given way to much credit to not even be the first nor the most convincing to have made the change. I don’t go to church on Sunday heck I can’t even tell you the last time I stepped inside the sacred building and I’m not sure if that is because dyslexia affects my short-term memory dates and times or it just wasn’t that memorable an experience a catholic in a Christian church with people full of the Holy Ghost the details I have but dates and times just not that memorable. Again I do believe and I let that freedom of religion guide my choices along with common sense not depict my life and how I view you. -Vonte
